How much does corporate catering cost in Barcelona?

It’s the first question in almost every corporate enquiry we get, and the honest answer is: it depends on three things. Once you know which three, you can put a realistic figure in the budget request before you’ve even written to us.

The three things that set the price

The menu. A working lunch of salads, skewers and something sweet costs less per head than a three-course seated dinner with sea bass en papillote. Our sample lunch menu and dinner menu show the two ends of that range; everything in between is possible.

The service format. Canapés handed round a reception need more service staff per guest than a buffet. A seated dinner needs plates, glassware, linen and a team to clear between courses. A drop-off lunch for the office needs almost none of that. Same food, different format, different price.

The venue. A boardroom with a kitchen down the corridor is cheap to cater. A rooftop terrace with no lift, no water and no power is not — we bring everything, and that shows up as staffing, transport and equipment.

Guest count matters too, but less than people expect: above roughly twenty guests the per-head cost flattens out, because the fixed costs are spread across more plates.

What a corporate event in Barcelona usually looks like

Team lunch at the office — sharing platters or individual boxes, dropped off or lightly staffed. Fast to arrange, works for 10 to 80 people.

Client dinner — seated, three courses, a chef on site, discreet service. The format for closing something.

Offsite or congress side-event — canapé reception or standing buffet in a hired space, often with a bar. Barcelona’s congress calendar (MWC, ISE, the medical congresses) fills the good venues early.

Christmas party — the one everyone leaves too late. Kitchens and service teams for December Thursdays and Fridays are booked by early November.

How to get a number quickly

Send us four things through the quote form: the date, the guest count, the venue (or “office, Eixample” is enough) and the format you have in mind. We reply within two working days with a menu proposal and a quote. If the budget is fixed, tell us — it’s easier to design a menu to a number than to guess.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests are part of every menu, not an extra. Tell us the dietary mix when you enquire and it’s built in from the start.
